Restoring Your Apple Music Library
In an earlier blog post I mentioned how if you lose your Apple Music subscription or change regions, you lose your Apple Music library. Turns out, this isn’t true! Or at least isn’t true anymore.
After you cancel your subscription and it ends, you have 90 days in order to save your library, provided you sign up for Apple Music again. Once you’ve signed up, on iOS you’ll need to go Settings > Music and then enable “Sync Library” for your Apple Music library to show up again. On macOS, you’ll just need to open the Music app, File > Preferences, and tick “Sync Library”.
Now once you open the Apple Music app, you should see all your songs and playlists. This removes a major pain point of Apple Music, so thank you to whoever found this method, or to whoever at Apple made this decision
